Composite bonding is a relatively simple and brilliantly quick treatment that can produce fantastic, head-turning results. We often recommend composite bonding in conjunction with another treatment, as it can help create the finish many of our patients are looking for with their smiles. We use composite bonding to fill in small gaps, cracks, broken teeth and chips in the teeth. Sometimes, it can be used to address an overlapping smile or crowded mouth. It is minimally invasive, which means there is very rarely any drilling or injections involved with this treatment and it can be applied over just one appointment.
This treatment uses the same kind of resin material that we use when applying white fillings. This material is extremely clever at being able to mimic the shade, shape and surface of the natural tooth and can easily be moulded into shape by us here at the practice. This makes for a completely natural-appearing finish that also helps to improve and enhance your smile, leaving it looking more even and photogenic.
