Rebecca recently qualified as a Dental Therapist from Newcastle University with a Distinction in clinical Dentistry.
She has a naturally calm and caring approach to dentistry and enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients, helping them feel comfortable and at ease throughout their appointments. Rebecca has a particular interest in preventative, periodontal, paediatric and restorative dentistry and is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and feel confident in looking after their smile.
She has also undertaken additional training in Guided Biofilm Therapy using AIRFLOW®, providing a modern and comfortable approach to professional dental cleaning and biofilm management. Rebecca is also an active member of BSDHT.
During her training, Rebecca completed an international dental elective at Osaka University in Japan, where she spent time within the university dental hospital observing a range of specialist care. This included gaining insight into paediatric dentistry and advanced periodontal treatment, including regenerative periodontal therapies, while experiencing how approaches to patient care and dentistry can differ internationally. Rebecca also loves travelling and experiencing new places and cultures.
She has spent two summers sailing in Canada, where she gained her powerboat licence, and is also part of the Royal Navy Reserves, where she continues to develop her teamwork and maritime skills. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, sailing, keeping active and spending time with friends and family.
