Mathu qualified with Honours from King’s College London, in 2014. She completed her foundation training in Beckenham, gaining a firm base in high-quality aesthetic cosmetic dentistry.
A year of postgraduate training followed at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust, giving Mathu extensive experience in surgical tooth extractions, as well as management of anxious patients under sedation.
Mathu’s relaxed and friendly approach makes her patients feel at ease in the chair. She tailors her treatment plans to meet individual dental needs and ensures excellent standards with minimally invasive techniques. Mathu has a special interest in aesthetic composite/porcelain restorations, Invisalign and tooth whitening. She also has plans to undergo further postgraduate training in advanced aesthetic dentistry (3D smile design).
Mathu’s practice is incredibly supportive, and she strives to deliver the best dental patient experience and clinical care. She likes to remain at the forefront of digital dentistry. Mathu has the following accreditations: Invisalign (clear aligners) 2017, C-Fast (ceramic braces) 2016, SmileFast (application moulding smile design) 2019, Enlighten (teeth whitening) 2018.
Outside of dentistry, Mathu loves being a mum and celebrating her young child’s milestones. She is a keen gardener and likes travelling to discover new countries and different cuisines.
